Samantha & HoJo Animal Law Scholarships
The Samantha & HoJo Scholarships in Animal Law are two endowments created by Julius Fleischman in memory and honor of his beloved canine companions, Sam and HoJo. The endowments provide annual scholarships awarded to George Washington law students who have contributed significantly to the George Washington Animal Law Program as a leader, advocate, and scholar, who have a sincere love for animals, and who have demonstrated the passion and commitment to promote the welfare of animals through the law.
The George Washington Animal Law Program is grateful for the generosity of Julius Fleischman and appreciates his love and devotion for his companions Samantha and HoJo. Their spirits remain alive, not only in Julius’ heart, but as guiding lights in the mettle of GW animal law students always.
