GW Law is pleased to announce that it will serve as a marketing co-sponsor for the Energy Bar Association's 2015 Annual Meeting & Conference at the Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown Hotel. Both days will offer an array of panels, looking into such front-and-center energy practitioner concerns as: the current fast-moving merger and acquisition activities, and FERC’s new hold harmless proposed policy statement to deal with M&As; the plummet in oil prices and their potential ramifications on the newly emerging fracking industry; the pitfalls in keeping up with mandatory compliance applicable to the energy industry, including emerging EPA coal regulations; new litigation procedural requirements imposed by FERC and courts, as well as ADR tools available to avoid litigation; technological developments in communications that the energy industry needs to be prepared for; and bankruptcy risks facing the restructured energy markets.
