Munich Intellectual Property Law Center
The Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC) is a cooperative venture of The George Washington University Law School, the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property, Competition and Tax Law, the University of Augsburg, and the Technische Universität München. The MIPLC features an English-language Intellectual Property LL.M. program with instruction by leading faculty from the four partner institutions and from other universities and practices around the world. It also conducts research projects in all areas of intellectual property.
The MIPLC is located in Munich, Germany, Europe's "Intellectual Property Capital," home to the European Patent Office, the German Patent and Trademark Office, the German Federal Patent Court, and scores of IP law firms, important media and IT companies, and biotech startups.
