Celebrating its establishment in 1960, GW Law's Government Procurement Law Program Gala honored Professors Emeritus Ralph C. Nash, Jr. and the late John Cibinic, Jr. Speakers included Progam Co-Directors Steven L. Schooner, Joshua I. Schwartz and Christopher R. Yukins with keynotes by Professor Emeritus Nash and Administrator Daniel I. Gordon of the OMB Office of Federal Procurement Policy, a former GW Law faculty member.
Unique in the United States, the program offers unparalled faculty resources, course offerings, and professional development opportunities in this growing and dynamic area of the world's economy. The program's full-time faculty offer students years of experience in the federal government and the private sector.
In addition to its classes, the McKenna Long & Aldridge "Gilbert A. Cuneo" Government Contracts Moot Court Competition, and the Public Contract Law Journal, the program also offers colloquia and symposia addressing evolving issues and presenting esteemed speakers from academia, government, and private practice.
