Admissions + Financial Aid

Explore how GW Law is at the center of the legal world in our nation's capital.

Admissions + Financial Aid Typically, GW Law receives approximately 10,000 applications for 500 spots in the J.D. entering class, making it one of the most competitive law schools in the country.  The Law School also enrolls highly-qualified students from approximately 45 countries each year in its Master of Laws and Doctor of Juridical Science degree programs.

The Financial Aid Office works with students to ensure each new student receives the most generous aid package available. Between 85 and 90 percent of GW Law students receive some aid, and there are numerous scholarships and grants available.
