Binding Early Decision/Presidential Merit Scholarship Program

Applicants who are certain The George Washington University Law School is the right law school for them and who wish to be considered for a full-tuition GW Law Presidential Merit Scholarship may choose to apply through the Binding Early Admission/Presidential Merit Scholarship Program.

Applicants admitted through this early admission program will be awarded a full-tuition scholarship.

Early admission deadline is Dec 15. GW Law will mail early admission decisions no later than Jan 15. Early admission candidates must take the LSAT no later than September 2009.

Early Decision Agreement

Early decision applicants must submit a signed and dated Early Decision Agreement with their applications. This agreement is attached to the application. As part of the application for early decision, applicants must agree that, upon being admitted to The George Washington University Law School, they will:

  • commit to attend The George Washington University Law School and pay a non-refundable seat deposit in the amount of $1,500 no later than Jan 31, 2010
  • within 5 business days of admission to The George Washington University Law School, withdraw all applications pending at other law schools and not initiate applications at any other law schools.

Applicants who apply for early admission but are not admitted will be considered for admission in the regular admission process. Click here for more information on admission.
