Federal and Commercial Loans
LL.M. students are eligible to apply for the Federal Stafford loans, Federal Graduate PLUS loans, and credit-based, commercial student loans. In order to receive aid from any of these sources, you need to be:
- A citizen or a permanent resident of the United States (unless specified otherwise by a commercial loan lender)
- Enrolled at least half-time (5 credits) in a degree program each semester aid is received, and
- Not be delinquent or in default on any educational loans borrowed prior to attendance at the Law School.
