Merit Scholarships

Merit Scholarships are a part of financial aid called gift aid.  Gift aid also includes need-based grants and outside scholarships.  Gift aid is aid that does not need to be repaid.

GW Law School does not award scholarships that are conditional on law school academic performance, therefore we do not post an ABA Scholarship retention worksheet for years beginning in 2012.
