(Note: A legal periodical can be a law journal, law review, legal newsletter or legal newspaper.)
I. Verify the citation to an article
To verify that a citation to an article is correct, use one or more of the indexes to legal periodical literature listed below. Indexes provide citations only to legal periodical articles:

- Web database that provides the full text of articles from law reviews and journals, pre- 1980s to date; coverage varies by title |

• Search JACOB, the Library's online catalog |
| |

- JACOB provides links to online, PDF versions of selected periodicals. |
III. Locate the print version of a legal periodical

• Search JACOB, the Library's online catalog |
| |
|
- The Library may have the print periodical in its collection. |
| |
|
|
| |
• Search the WorldCat database |
| |
|
- WorldCat lists libraries (law and non-law) in the DC area that may have a print periodical in their collection. |
| |
|
- If an electronic version is available, a link to the PDF version of the periodical will be listed. |
| |
|
- You can only link to online full text if "GW" is listed. |
IV. Use the InterLibrary Loan (ILL) Service of the Jacob Burns Law Library
