The Fall Recruitment Program (FRP) brings national and local legal employers to GW Law and to regional locations for the purpose of interviewing second and third-year students (and in some cases, LL.M. students) for summer and permanent legal positions. The majority of employer participants are large law firms; other employers represented include government agencies, public interest and legal services offices, and district attorneys' offices.
FRP facilitates recruiting efforts of more than 600 employers each year by way of on-campus interviews (OCI), resume collections, regional interview programs, and direct write job postings. More than 750 law students participate in OCI, generating upwards of 5,000+ interviews.
For employers unable to interview on-campus or at regional interview programs but still wish to receive resumes, FRP offers resume collection and job posting (Direct Writes) options. With these two options, employers have the flexibility of contacting students directly on their own time, and either bringing students into their offices or arranging to visit the GW Law campus in September or early October to conduct interviews. For questions, please contact Kimberly Hicks at 202.994.7340.
The Career Center continues to expand the ways employers may recruit GW Law students, including job postings, resume collections, video conferencing, or on-campus interviewing (OCI). Below you will find more information on all of this year's Fall Recruitment Program (FRP) options as well as instructions on how to register and participate in each option. For a comprehensive guide to fall recruiting at GW Law please call 202.994.7340.
Fall Recruitment Program (FRP): Employer Registration
GW Law School's fall on-campus interviewing takes place at a local, Washington DC hotel or at the employer's DC area office.
Please note, 2013 FRP registration for the following August opens in early March.
Registration for the 2013 Fall Recruitment Program takes place through Symplicity, GW Law's online recruitment system. If you are not already registered in Symplicity and wish to be included in important FRP email announcements, please email Kimberly Hicks, Recruitment Manager.

FRP Resume Collection
In addition to interview schedules, there is a resume collection option for employers who are unable to interview, but still want to receive resumes.
Instructions: Following the instructions under "Fall OCI Employer Registration" above, request a schedule through Symplicity but be sure to select the 2013 FRP Resume Collection option under Sessions. Fill out the online registration form according to your hiring criteria and click "Submit" when finished.

Regional Interview Programs
If a recruiting trip to Washington, DC is inconvenient, we strongly encourage you to participate in one of eight Regional Interview Programs.
GW Law New York and Philadelphia Regional Interview Programs
GW Law is pleased to offer regional interviewing programs in New York and Philadelphia. Registration takes place through Symplicity by following the same procedure for Fall OCI above.
The Law Consortium Regional Interview Programs
Interview programs are held regionally in August in Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia, New York City, and San Francisco. The Philadelphia and New York City Programs are coordinated by the Career Center, and only GW Law students participate in these two regional programs.
The Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, and San Francisco Regional Interview Programs are sponsored by The Law Consortium which includes GW Law, Boston College Law School, Boston University School of Law, Northwestern University Law School, Notre Dame Law School, and the University of Texas Law School.*
If your firm or organization is interested in participating in one of the above mentioned regional interview programs, please view The Law Consortium website to find the registration instructions and contact information of the coordinator for your region of interest.
*Note: The Law Consortium also sponsors a Philadelphia and Washington, DC Regional Interview Program that is separate from GW Law's Philadelphia Regional and Washington, DC On-Campus Interview Programs. To interview GW Law students in these two areas, employers must register through GW Law's programs.
Firms that wish to receive 2L and 3L student applications directly for summer and permanent positions may post a job announcement on Symplicity as part of the Fall Recruitment Program. Log into Symplicity and click on the Jobs tab, then click on "Add New." Under position type, mark "FRP Direct Writes" to associate your posting with the Fall Recruitment Program.
Make Room for Equal Justice
GW Law encourages employers to participate in the Make Room for Equal Justice Program. The program allows employers to donate $150 to the Equal Justice Foundation on behalf of callback candidates (students) who elect to forego hotel accommodations provided by the employer if travel is required for a second interview. Employers may register by filling out the EJF hotel voucher form [pdf], and faxing it to Tamara Devieux-Adams, Public Interest Counselor, at 202.994.7352.
