GW Law and Georgetown Public Sector Recruiting Program

In conjunction with Georgetown University Law Center, the GW Law CDO holds an annual spring interviewing program to which public interest organizations, government agencies, and legal services offices are invited. The 2009 program hosted over 190 employers, out of which 80 interviewed students on-campus for specific job openings. The next program will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2010 on the third floor of the GW Marvin Center (800 21st Street, N.W. Washington, DC).

Employers should contact Georgetown's Office of Public Interest and Community Service (OPICS) at 202.662.9655 to request to be included in our employer registration announcements. Employer registration opens up in November!

Students should contact Kathryn Parente, Recruitment Manager, or their career counselor at 202-994-7340 for questions. A separate Symplicity website is used for this program. Usernames and passwords will be emailed to students around the third week of December following exams. Students should pay close attention to their email in December for important announcements that are time sensitive. Students will have about three weeks to bid on employers over the winter break. A link to the Public Sector Symplicity site is below, along with a packet of information and instructions on how to participate in this program.
