2009 Class Gift

See Where Your Section Stands in the 2009 Class Gift Campaign [pdf]

Why Give

As the cost of legal education in the United States continues to rise, more and more students require financial assistance to achieve their educational goals. By establishing this scholarship fund the Class of 2009 will provide critical support to this most pressing need, enabling the Law School to provide the financial assistance that will make a GW Law education possible for future generations.

How to Participate

Any amount is appreciated, and donors who make a gift of $20.09 or more will receive a Class of 2009 t-shirt.

Donors have the option of making a one-time gift or a five-year recurring pledge. For instance, if you make a gift of $20.09 this year and check the box on the gift form to make this a five-year recurring pledge, you are pledging to contribute $20.09 each year for four years after you have graduated from the Law School.

Donors who make five-year pledges will enable the Class of 2009 Scholarship Endowment to sustain growth between graduation and our fifth Reunion, resulting in a more immediate impact on the available financial aid funding.

Will my Donation Make a Difference?

Yes! The Class of 2009 has set a participation goal of 33% for five-year pledges. Also, our class has set an overall participation goal of 66% (one-year and five-year pledges combined).

How it Counts

When you make a five-year pledge (minimum of $10.00) not only are you helping to reach the multi year pledge goal, but you are also helping to reach our donation goal as well.
