Ways To Give
Making a Gift to the Law School
The George Washington University Law School continues to grow and prosper, thanks to the generous financial support of alumni and friends whose interests and goals are matched to the needs of the School. Gifts to the Law School help to ensure the strength of our endeavor by supporting institutional priorities such as financial aid, academic programs, facilities, and faculty support.

Make a gift online: use the University's online giving form (please specify the Law School from the appropriate drop downs).

Law Firm Challenge
The Law Firm Challenge involves and engages Law School alumni in the life of the Law School and promotes alumni participation in the GW Law Annual Fund.
Dean's Circle
Dean’s Circle members provide scholarships to support faculty and clinics, to improve our library, and to enhance our facilities. While we continue to seek major and planned gifts for endowments and capital projects, gifts to the Dean’s Circle enable us to remain competitive and address our most important needs. Your contribution of $1,000 or more is greatly appreciated.
Matching Gifts
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please click here and enter your employer's name below.
Securities
Many donors find that making gifts to the Law School using appreciated securities is an attractive option. By giving appreciated securities, donors are entitled to take a charitable deduction for the full current value of appreciated securities held longer than one year, and are able to avoid paying the capital gains tax that would be due if the donor sold the securities.
