Biographical Sketch
Professor Cummins was a Root-Tilden Scholar and editor of the Law Review at New York University School of Law. After law school he clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He studied comparative law in New York and Paris and has practiced international law for 30 years in New York, Paris (9 years), and Washington, D.C. He has taught comparative law, transactions courses and seminars in Roman and Islamic law at the Law School since 1995.
