Biographical Sketch
Ms. Hagler is a trial attorney in the Housing and Civil Enforcement Section of the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, where she investigates and litigates cases to enforce federal laws that prohibit discrimination in housing, lending, public accommodations and land use. Prior to joining the Housing Section, Ms. Hagler spent five years in the Civil Rights Division’s Voting Section. Ms. Hagler graduated from the George Washington University Law School and received her B.A. in Law and Society, Criminal Justice, from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Prior to joining the Civil Rights Division, Ms. Hagler served as a law clerk to United States District Judge John Garrett Penn and as a staff attorney in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
