Matthew C. Solomon is the Deputy Chief Litigation Counsel for Enforcement at the Securities and Exchange Commission. He previously served as the Fraud Unit Chief of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia and as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in that office. Before that, he worked as Counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee and as a Trial Attorney in the Department of Justice Public Integrity Section. Prior to entering the Department through the Attorney General’s Honors Program, Professor Solomon clerked for United States District Judge James Robertson in Washington, DC, and for United States Court of Appeals Judge Dennis Jacobs in New York, NY.
