Natalie G. Roisman is a partner at the communications law firm of Wilkinson Barker Knauer LLP, where she advises clients on a wide variety of policy and regulatory issues related to the media and telecommunications fields. She works with cable, broadcast, motion picture studio, telecommunications, wireless carrier, and equipment manufacturer clients to develop and execute FCC advocacy strategies with respect to industry-wide rulemakings, adjudicatory proceedings, regulatory compliance, and enforcement actions. She also counsels clients on evolving federal law, policies, and self-regulatory regimes relating to consumer privacy and data protection.
Ms. Roisman also advises investors and the financial community regarding media and telecommunications acquisitions and the impact of congressional and FCC policy actions on relevant industries.
Prior to joining Wilkinson Barker, Ms. Roisman was counsel in the Washington, DC office of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and an attorney-advisor in the policy division of the Federal Communications Commission Media Bureau. She is a member of the Virginia, Maryland and District of Columbia Bars, a former trustee of the Federal Communications Bar Association (FCBA) Foundation, and a former co-chair of the FCBA Young Lawyers Committee.
