Jon Knight teaches Scholarly Writing to student members of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal. Specifically, Professor Knight assists individual students as they complete all phases of the scholarly note writing process.
Professor Knight graduated from GW with honors. As a student, he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal. He also interned for the Honorable Alexander Williams in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, the Torts Branch of the United States Department of Justice Civil Division, and a private law firm. In 2010, the Federal Circuit Bar Journal published Professor Knight's article, "Patrolling the Unfriendly Skies: Protecting Whistleblowers Through Expanded Jurisdiction."
Upon receiving his J.D., Professor Knight served as a law clerk to the Honorable Mary Ellen Coster Williams on the United States Court of Federal Claims. Currently, he serves as a law clerk to Chief Judge Randall Rader on the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
