Mr. Medoff works at the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs, where he is an expert on sanctions policy, import/export licensing, and delisting requests on U.S. sanctions programs and prospective sanctions regimes in Africa, Latin America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Previously, he litigated for a law firm in Miami, Florida, where he represented clients on criminal, appellate, corporate, and immigration law matters. During law school, Mr. Medoff was a judicial intern to The Honorable Judge Shelby Highsmith, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida. In Japan, he served as a reporting officer for the United Nations, where he analyzed the Overseas Deveiopment Assistance Workshop for the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
