Biographical Sketch
Spencer R. Fisher is a trial attorney in the Voting Section of the Civil Rights Division at the U.S. Department of Justice. He is currently serving on active duty with the U.S. Marine Corps in the Office of Legislative Affairs. Previously, he worked as a staff attorney for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He has also served as a law clerk at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and at the U.S. Department of the Air Force. He received his J.D., from Georgetown University Law Center in 2005. This is his third year teaching in the Legal Research and Writing Program.
