Henry duPont Ridgely is a Justice of the Supreme Court of Delaware. From 1984 until his appointment as a Justice in 2004, he was a trial judge on the Superior Court of Delaware and the President Judge of the Court for 14 years. He is a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, a Fellow of the National Conference of State Trial Judges, and a Member of the American Law Institute, the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates, the Executive Committee of the Appellate Judges Conference of the Judicial Division of the ABA, the National Advisory Council of the American Judicature Society, and the Leadership Council of the American Inns of Court. Justice Ridgely is a Judicial Advisor to the Business and Corporate Litigation Committee of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association. He also is a Member of the Advisory Board of the George Washington University Center for Law, Economics & Finance. Before being appointed to the bench, he was a partner in the firm of Ridgely and Ridgely in Dover, Delaware.
