Biographical Sketch
Mr. Somers has more than 20 years of academic and law library experience specializing in U.S. federal and international documents librarianship. He has worked in major documents collections at Tufts, Yale, and Northwestern universities. He has taught as an adjunct faculty member at Dominican University's (formerly Rosary College) Graduate School of Library and Information Science in River Forest, Illinois. Mr. Somers also has served as a government information consultant to publishers and university libraries. Presently, he is the foreign/international law librarian at the Jacob Burns Law Library. He has served the American Association of Law Libraries as a member of its government relations committee, and he is also a former president and board member of the Law Librarians' Society of Washington,D.C. Mr. Somers is admitted to the practice of law in Maryland
