Biographical Sketch
Alex Robbins is an attorney in the Tax Division of the United States Department of Justice. He works in the Criminal Appeals and Tax Enforcement Policy Section, which represents the government in appeals from criminal tax convictions and coordinates nationwide litigation strategy in criminal tax cases.

He graduated from Stanford University in 2004, with a degree in History and Economics, and from the University of Chicago Law School in 2007, where he was a member of the law review and a law-and-economics fellow.

After law school he worked at the law firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and then clerked for Judge Sandra Ikuta on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
