George Ferko is a senior trial attorney in the Human Rights & Special Prosecutions Section of the U.S. Department of Justice. His primary focus concerns investigating and litigating cases with allegations of serious human rights violations. A career prosecutor, Mr. Ferko has served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney specializing in criminal appeals and, before that, as a prosecutor with the State of Connecticut. He has previously taught at the University of Connecticut School of Law and lectures on various prosecutorial misconduct issues.
