Tim English served as a trial attorney for the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) regional office in Manhattan, NY for five years where he regularly handled representation proceedings and unfair labor practice investigations and trials. For the past 30 years, Mr. English has served as a staff attorney for the NFL Players Association (NFLPA). During those years when the NFLPA was a labor organization, Mr. English regularly handled player grievances and arbitrations, collectively bargaining matters, NLRB cases, agent regulation and disciplinary matters, NFL substance policy, steroids policy and conduct policy appeals and various other labor and sports related legal matters. Since the fall of 2009, Mr. English has taught Sports Law as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University’s Sports Industry Management graduate program.
