Biographical Sketch
David Goodfriend is a lawyer and advocate in Washington, D.C. He served as Deputy Staff Secretary to President William Jefferson Clinton; professional staff member to congressional committees chaired by Senator Herb Kohl (D-WI) and Charles B. Rangel (D-NY); and Media Legal Advisor to a commissioner at the Federal Communications Commission. In the private sector, Professor Goodfriend was Vice President of Law and Public Policy at DISH Network, co-founder of Air America Radio, and today is President of Goodfriend Government Affairs and Of Counsel at the law firm of Weiner, Brodsky, Sidman and Kider. David is a frequent contributor to MSNBC, CNBC, and Fox News, and co-hosts “Left Jab” on Sirius-XM Satellite Radio. He is a past co-chairman of the Federal Communications Bar Association Legislative Committee.
