Rebecca Brink is currently a Senior Policy Attorney at Children’s Law Center (CLC), where she advocates for programs and policies to improve the lives of low-income children and families in the District of Columbia. Before joining CLC in 2009, she was the Co-Director of the Children’s Mental Health Access Project at Health Law Advocates (HLA), a nonprofit law firm in Boston. At HLA, Ms. Brink represented individual families, served as court-appointed Guardian ad litem, created and delivered training sessions and was involved in legislative policy campaigns focused on improving mental health care. Rebecca began at HLA as an Equal Justice Works Fellow. Her fellowship project involved a collaboration with the Department of Psychiatry at Children's Hospital Boston. At Boston College, Ms. Brink was a Public Service Scholar and the recipient of the Aviam Soifer Award for Public Service Achievement and Leadership. Prior to law school, Rebecca worked in government relations at the Children’s Defense Fund.
