Mr. Lipton has been an attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice for the past 14 years. For the last 11 years, he has worked as a prosecutor. Mr. Lipton was an Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of New York, where he served in the Organized Crime and Racketeering Section prosecuting members and associates of organized crime. Since 2009, Mr. Lipton has been with the Fraud Section at the Department of Justice in the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act Unit. In that role, Mr. Lipton investigates and prosecutes foreign corruption cases. Previously, Mr. Lipton worked in the Civil Division for the Department of Justice handling constitutional tort cases.
