Alice S. Hamilton Evert joined George Washington University in 2013 as a Friedman Fellow in the Small Business & Community Economic Development Clinic. Prior to becoming a Friedman Fellow, Ms. Hamilton Evert was an associate in the Affordable Housing and Community Development practice group of Pepper Hamilton LLP in Washington, D.C. At Pepper, Ms. Hamilton Evert specialized in lender representation in FHA lending transactions, including nursing, health care and seniors housing under the LEAN program. Before Pepper, Ms. Hamilton Evert was an associate at Linowes and Blocher, LLP, in Bethesda, Maryland, with a focus on commercial litigation and bankruptcy matters. Ms. Hamilton Evert is a graduate of American University, Washington College of Law. During law school she participated in the Community and Economic Development Law Clinic and was a Myers Society Distinguished Fellow in the Office of Legal Rhetoric.
