Dabney Friedrich is a member of the United States Sentencing Commission. Prior to her appointment, she served as associate counsel to the President and counsel to the United States Senate Judiciary Committee. She also worked as an Assistant United States Attorney, first in the Southern District of California and later in the Eastern District of Virginia. Prior to becoming a federal prosecutor, Professor Friedrich was a litigation associate at Latham & Watkins. After graduating from law school, she served as a law clerk to Judge Thomas F. Hogan, United States District Judge for the District of Columbia.
