Biographical Sketch
Benjamin Nussdorf is a Senior Policy Analyst with the Bureau of Land Management. During law school, he worked at the District of Columbia District Court, the District of Columbia Superior Court, the Department of Justice, the law firm of Duncan & Allen, as well as the law firm of Selzer, Gurvitch, Rabin & Obecny. Professor Nussdorf also worked as a Dean’s Fellow for Professor Jonathan Baker. Following law school, he received a Presidential Management Fellowship, during which he worked at the Department of the Interior and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Professor Nussdorf's work focuses on unconventional production of oil and gas, such as hydraulic fracturing and oil shale, as well as renewable energy, transmission, hard rock mining, realty, royalty valuation, and Federal oil & gas management. In addition to teaching at the George Washington University Law School, Professor Nussdorf also teaches at Washington College of Law.
