Biographical Sketch
William Farah represents and advises clients on campaign finance, anticorruption, lobbying and government ethics laws. His clients include Fortune 500 companies, trade associations, PACs, campaign organizations, and other nonprofit organizations engaging in legislative and political activities. He regularly represents clients before the Federal Election Commission, the U.S. Department of Justice, the Congressional Ethics Committees, the U.S. Office of Government Ethics, the Office of Special Counsel, and the IRS, as well as state, municipal and local election, lobbying and ethics authorities. His current practice includes conducting internal investigations and helping clients design effective political law compliance programs. This includes preparing detailed policies and procedures, developing compliance materials, and conducting training sessions for client personnel.

Professor Farah has been legal counsel in a number of high-profile political investigations, and has represented several nominees for cabinet and ambassadorial positions requiring Senate confirmation. He has been general counsel to two presidential campaigns and has served as legal advisor to a number of senators and House members, including their campaign committees and leadership PACs.
