Biographical Sketch
Judge Wright was appointed to the Superior Court of the District of Columbia in April 1998 and has served in juvenile and criminal division assignments. He has been the presiding judge for the Superior Court Drug Intervention Program since January 2001 and currently chairs the Drug Court Committee for the D.C. Superior Court comprising representatives from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Public Defender Service, Criminal Defense Bar, and other treatment and community organizations.
