Brian Thavarajah is a Counsel in King & Spalding’s Special Matters practice in Washington, D.C. Mr. Thavarajah's practice focuses on representing public companies, financial institutions, broker-dealers, investment advisers, and corporate officers in connection with government securities investigations involving the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, the United States Department of Justice, and other federal, state, and local agencies. He also frequently counsels clients on their regulatory, compliance, and disclosure obligations under the rules of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission and various self-regulatory organizations. Before joining King & Spalding, Mr. Thavarajah practiced in the Washington, D.C. office of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP. Mr. Thavarajah earned his JD degree, with highest honors and Order of the Coif, from GW Law.
