Mr. Reed held various positions in the reference and electronic services departments of the Jacob Burns Law Library prior to becoming assistant director for information services in 2001. Before coming to GW Law he served as a law librarian at the Washington, D.C., firm of Covington & Burling, and prior to librarianship his law career focused on environmental and land use issues. Mr. Reed has taught library science students and legal assistants; he currently teaches Advanced Legal Research in the Law School curriculum. He is active in the Law Librarians' Society of Washington, D.C., and serves as its web committee chair, 2000-03.
