Professor Goodman teaches in the Legal Research and Writing Program. He is a senior trial attorney with the Office of the General Counsel, U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). Professor Goodman is responsible for managing litigation in all cases in which the DOT is a party or has an interest. This includes cases involving actions taken by the DOT or matters raising issues of significant impact on transportation policy or the DOT.
Prior to joining the DOT, Professor Goodman was in private practice where he focused on trial and appellate advocacy in a wide range of complex and high-value litigation matters. He also was an officer in the U.S. Navy before entering the practice of law.
