Comments Policy for Social Media
We welcome your comments on the GW Law Library Facebook page, on the Burns Brief blog, on the GW Law Library LibGuides and other GW Law Library sponsored social media sites.
The purpose of these sites is to inform GW Law faculty, students and alumni about library services, resources and operations of the Jacob Burns Law Library. We encourage you to submit your comments, suggestions, questions and concerns, but please note that these sites are moderated online discussion forums.
Once posted, the GW Law Library reserves the right to delete submissions that contain vulgar language, personal attacks of any kind, or offensive comments that target or disparage any ethnic, racial, religious, or gender group. The Law Library also reserves the right to delete comments that are: a) spam or include links to other sites; b) off-topic; c) advocate illegal activity; d) promote commercial or non-commercial services; e) promote political organizations; f) infringe on copyrights or trademarks; or, g) violate any local, state, or federal laws and/or are otherwise illegal. The Law Library also reserves the right to close comments at any time on any or all of its social media sites.
Comments expressed on social media sites do not reflect the opinions and/or positions of the GW Law Library or the George Washington University, its officers or its employees.
