Celebrating the Class of 2011
The Law School congratulates members of the graduating class of 2011 and recognizes the extraordinary effort that has led to their success. Commencement Weekend highlights include an academic awards ceremony, a dean’s reception at the National Air and Space Museum, and the Law School Diploma Ceremony featuring The Hon. John William Snow (J.D.'67), former U.S. Secretary of the Treasury, whose remarks are made possible by the Susan N. and Augustus diZerega Jr. Lectureship Fund.
The class of 2011 includes more than 500 J.D. and more than 200 LL.M. students who possess the character and intelligence to achieve success in the legal community, and in all their endeavors. As with the classes that came before, this year’s graduates had the memorable experience of witnessing major domestic and world events while living and studying in the nation’s capital. They held positions in government agencies and took classes by prominent Washington experts on a variety of topics, enhancing their lawyering skills and their ability to thoughtfully analyze the activities of a rapidly changing world.
