CLS brings Christian students together both socially and intellectually, sponsoring weekly fellowship hours and Bible study. The organization also has sponsored Christmas and Easter fellowships with the University’s Ecumenical Christian Ministry. CLS is a member of the Christian Legal Society, a national organization of jurists, lawyers, and students, with law school chapters throughout the country. CLS co-sponsors speakers and activities with similar groups at other law schools. During the Law School’s first-year orientation program, CLS sponsors a new members outreach. All students who are interested in Christian and church–state issues are encouraged to join CLS.
