STUDENTS
The CDO's mission is to provide effective career advising services to students, enabling them to engage in a meaningful job search, to compete as professionals in the employment market, and to make well-informed choices leading to long-term career satisfaction. The CDO fulfills its mission through a broad range of services including individual counseling, group seminars, substantive legal practice area programs, interviewing programs, job and internship fairs, online job postings, handouts, a Career Resource Library, the Alumni Career Advisor Network, a biweekly newsletter, and a comprehensive website.
ALUMNI
The CDO serves alumni with job search-related services including individual career counseling, and access to online job postings and the Alumni Career Advisor Network. The CDO also welcomes alumni to participate in career panels, our mock interview program, and to join the Alumni Career Advisor Network.
EMPLOYERS
The CDO's mission includes creating opportunities to connect employers and students in an efficient and supportive manner. Each year the CDO coordinates a Fall Recruitment Program, a Public Sector Recruiting Program, a Government and Public Interest Internship Fair, and a Small Medium Employer Spring Recruitment Program. We also provide many other ways in which employers can connect with our students, including posting jobs online and conducting resume collections. We also welcome employers to participate in our many programs such as career panels and our annual mock interview program.
