Biographical Sketch
Kenneth Melson is First Assistant United States Attorney of the United States Attorney’s Office in Alexandria (VA). He holds a juris doctor (with honors) from the National Law Center of George Washington University and has legal licensing from the US Supreme Court, the US District Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Virginia. From 1974-1998, Ken was assistant professorial lecturer in forensic science at George Washington University. He presently serves on the Confidential Informant Review Committee as a designated representative from the U.S. Attorney’s Office to the Department of Justice.
