Andrew C. Budzinski joins the Jacob Burns Community Legal Clinics' Family Justice Litigation Clinic with a background in family law and representing survivors of domestic violence. Most recently, Professor Budzinski worked as a clinical teaching fellow at Georgetown University Law Center's Domestic Violence Clinic, where he represented survivors in civil protection order cases and supervised law students litigating the same. Previously, he worked as a staff attorney at Washington & Lee University Law School's Community Legal Practice Center, representing low-income clients in cases involving domestic violence, custody and visitation of minor children, divorce, and end-of-life planning. He has also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Roy W. McLeese III on the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. Professor Budzinski earned a JD magna cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School and an LLM in Advocacy from the Georgetown University Law Center.
