Bryan Schwartz joins GW Law’s Fundamentals of Lawyering program after teaching Lawyering Process as an adjunct professor at William S. Boyd School of Law – University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Professor Schwartz is a former Chief Deputy District Attorney for the Clark County District Attorney’s Office, where he was assigned to the Domestic Violence Unit and the Special Victim’s Unit, in addition to the appellate unit and several general litigation teams. Prior to joining the Clark County District Attorney’s Office, he clerked for Chief Justice Mark Gibbons of the Nevada Supreme Court. Lastly, his research focuses on (1) written and oral advocacy techniques, and (2) current criminal law issues related to sexual assault and sex trafficking prosecution and legislation.
