Juliana Siconolfi joined the GW Law Field Placement Program as a Professorial Lecturer in Law in Fall 2011, where she teaches Advanced Field Placement. She served as the Program's inaugural Visiting Associate Professor of Clinical Law and Friedman Fellow during the 2008-2010 academic years.
Ms. Siconolfi serves on the Board of Directors of Ms. JD. She serves as Chair of its Academic Committee, is a member of its Marketing & Communications Committee, and is the Ms. JD Writers in Residence Program Board Liaison. Previously, she served as Ms. JD's inaugural Academic Program Director, its 2014 Writers in Residence Program Director, and a 2013 Writer in Residence. As a Writer in Residence, she wrote a monthly column entitled, "Attitudes, Actions, and Accessories: Notes from the Desk of the Professionalism-Obsessed." She is a member of Washington Council of Lawyers and serves on its Communications Committee. Ms. Siconolfi’s research interests include intersections between forms of self-presentation and equality; diversity and inclusion within the legal profession and the entertainment, fashion, and beauty industries; all things professionalism; and legal education pedagogy.
Ms. Siconolfi is a member of the Massachusetts bar.
