Lana Guthrie is a career law clerk to the Honorable Kathleen M. O'Malley of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, a position she has held since 2011. Prior to clerking on the Federal Circuit, Ms. Guthrie clerked for Judge O'Malley on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Before clerking, she was a litigation associate in Bricker & Eckler LLP's Cleveland office, where she focused on commercial litigation and appellate matters. Ms. Guthrie graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University - Moritz College of Law. During law school, she served as an editor on The Ohio State Law Journal, was designated a Public Service Fellow with Dean's Special Recognition, received the Clinic Director's Award for her work in the Criminal Prosecution Clinic, and was elected to the Order of the Coif.
