Lindsay Eastman is a Trial Attorney in the Intellectual Property Section of the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Division. She represents federal agencies in litigation involving patent, trademark, and copyright issues, including developing legal theories and drafting corresponding memoranda and briefs. Before joining DOJ, Ms. Eastman was a summer associate in the Intellectual Property Litigation group at Fish & Richardson P.C.’s Minneapolis office, and she interned in the Office of Intellectual Property Counsel at 3M Innovative Properties Company. Ms. Eastman is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, where she was a student note editor of the Minnesota Law Review. She earned her BA with honors in Chemistry, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and Political Science/Music from Gustavus Adolphus College.
