Lisa Strauss is originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, went to college in Northwestern, then stayed for 2 years and worked as a paralegal at a large law firm in Chicago. She came to D.C. for law school, briefly moved to Princeton, NJ to work at Reed Smith, came back to D.C. in 2013 to work at Hogan Lovells and is now in-house at a hospitality investment company. She is a real estate lawyer by training.
