Mark J. Nackman

Mark Nackman is a partner in the Government Contracts practice at Jenner & Block LLP. Previously, he was Vice President and General Counsel at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GD-AIS) a business unit of General Dynamics, where he was responsible for legal, export, contracts, and subcontracts. Mr. Nackman previously served in the U.S. Air Force as both a civilian and active duty Judge Advocate (JAG). He managed the legal office of the 506th Air Expeditionary Group at Kirkuk Air Base, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Mr. Nackman earned an LLM in Government Procurement Law, with highest honors, from GW Law, where he won the National Contract Management Association’s writing award and outstanding achievement award, and placed second in the PCLJ writing competition. His publications include works in The International Lawyer, the PCLJ and the Journal of Contract Management.
