Michael Daly joins GW Law as a Visiting Associate Professor of Law. He spent five years practicing law at White and Case, LLP in Washington, D.C. In addition, he served as a law clerk to Judge Alan S. Gold, U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of Florida, as a Legal Adviser at the Iran-U.S. Claims Tribunal in The Hague (The Netherlands), and he has spent two years working on private arbitrations with Judge Charles N. Brower (20 Essex Street in London; Judge ad hoc of the International Court of Justice). Mr. Daly recently served as a Professorial Lecturer in Law and a Visiting Scholar at GW Law. He teaches International Business Transactions, and he oversees the Legal Research and Writing program for international LLM students and teaches a section of that course as well.  Mr. Daly also supports the International and Comparative Law program, including by managing the Visiting Scholar program and organizing events and conferences.  He received his JD from the University of Miami School of Law and his BA from Georgetown University.
