Mysti Degani is a senior counsel at the Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section of the Criminal Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. There, she specializes in statutory and Constitutional issues surrounding the collection and use of electronic evidence in criminal investigations and prosecutions. She has also prosecuted cases involving a variety of Internet-facilitated crime. Ms. Degani started teaching at GW Law in 2018. Prior to joining the Department of Justice, Ms. Degani clerked on the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
